中文摘要:依据2020—2023年湖南省区县农业农村专项统计数据，考量社会资本投资农业对农民增收的作用机制。结果显示：社会资本投资农业通过壮大村集体经济、引导土地流出、拓宽本地非农就业渠道增加农民收入，且在洞庭湖地区、地势平坦、经济基础较好地区作用更显著；社会资本投资农业对农民增收呈非线性影响，资本流转土地存在“适度规模”，其边际效应表现为“先升-转负-收敛于零”趋势。鉴于此，应因地制宜加大资本投向农业的引导力度，壮大集体经济，优化要素配置，规范资本准入与监管。

The Effect of Social Capital Investment in Agriculture on Farmers’ Income Growth: Evidence from Counties in Hunan Province

Abstract:Based on specialized agricultural and rural statistical data from counties in Hunan Province between 2020 and 2023, this study investigates the impact of social capital investment in agriculture on farmers’ income. The results show that such investment promotes income growth through three main channels: strengthening village collective economies, facilitating land transfer, and promoting local non-agricultural employment. The effect is more pronounced in the Dongting Lake region, areas with flat terrain, and regions with stronger economic foundations. Moreover, the analysis reveals a nonlinear impact: there exists a “moderate scale” of land transfer, with the marginal effect of social capital investment on income following a trajectory of “initial rise-turning negative-eventually converging to zero.” Accordingly, the study recommends region-specific guidance for capital investment in agriculture, strengthening of collective economies, optimization of factor allocation, and the establishment of clear entry and regulatory frameworks for social capital investment.
