| 中文摘要:基于中、美、欧、日四大经济体的消费者信心指数,构建大宗商品的市场危机预警模型,分析全球消费者信心指数(GCCI)对市场危机形成的影响。研究结果显示:(1)GCCI对大宗商品市场危机具有显著预测能力;(2)GCCI的预警作用存在品类异质性,在能源与工业金属市场中呈正向影响,而在贵金属及农产品市场中表现为负向影响。鉴于此,GCCI可作为大宗商品危机识别与政策调控的重要参考指标。 |

| The Early Warning of Commodity Market Crises Based on Global Consumer Confidence |

| Abstract:Using consumer confidence data from China, United States, Europe, and Japan, crisis early-warning models for staple commodity are developed to assess the impact of Global Consumer Confidence on the market crises. The empirical results show that GCCI exhibits significant predictive power for commodity market crises; further analyses suggest that its early-warning effect varies across commodity types—being positive in energy and industrial metal markets and negative in precious metal and agricultural markets. Accordingly, GCCI may serve as a valuable leading indicator for identifying commodity crises and implementing policy regulation. |
