| 中文摘要:依据2012—2022年我国30个省份面板数据,考量新质生产力对中国制造业低碳转型的影响。结果显示:发展新质生产力通过提升绿色技术创新能力,对我国制造业低碳转型促进作用显著,且不同制造业集聚程度存在双重门槛效应,并在新质生产力三要素和地理区位方面呈现出异质性特征。鉴于此,应实施差异化区域发展战略,加大新质生产力培育力度,科学规划制造业集聚空间布局,持续释放绿色技术创新红利,助力我国制造业低碳转型。 |

| How Can New Quality Productive Forces Contribute to the Low-Carbon Transition of China’s Manufacturing Sector? |

| Abstract:Based on panel data from 30 Chinese provinces spanning from 2012 to 2022, this study examines the impact of new-type productive forces on the low-carbon transition of China’s manufacturing sector. Findings indicate that developing new-type productive forces significantly promotes low-carbon transition through enhanced green technological innovation capabilities. A dual threshold effect emerges across varying degrees of manufacturing agglomeration, with heterogeneous characteristics observed in the three key elements of new-type productive forces and geographical location. In light of this, differentiated regional development strategies should be implemented. Efforts to cultivate new quality productive forces should be intensified, the spatial layout of manufacturing clusters should be scientifically planned, and the dividends of green technological innovation should be continuously unlocked to support the low-carbon transition of China’s manufacturing sector. |
