| 中文摘要:运用爬虫技术获取超100万条有关保险企业进行数字化转型的新闻文本，创新性地构造地级市层面的保险数字化转型指数，并选取2010—2022年我国278个地级及以上城市的面板数据，考察保险数字化转型对城市经济韧性的影响。结果表明，保险数字化转型显著提升城市经济韧性；这一影响存在异质性，对高人口密度城市、非资源型城市、中西部城市经济韧性的提升作用更为明显；机制分析表明保险数字化转型通过提高城市承载力效应、经济效率效应和增强社会风险管理进而提升城市经济韧性。鉴于此，应加快保险数字化转型，完善区域经济合作机制，推动全国经济韧性的整体提高。 |

| Do Digital Transformation of Insurance Improve Urban Economic Resilience?—Evidence from News Text Big Data |

| Abstract:Using web scraping technology to acquire over one million pieces of news text related to insurance companies undergoing digital transformation, and innovatively constructing an insurance digital transformation index at the prefecture level city level. The study analyzed panel data from 278 cities of prefecture level and above in China from 2010 to 2022 to explore the impact of insurance digital transformation on urban economic resilience. The findings reveal that insurance digital transformation can significantly improve urban economic resilience. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that the improvement effect of insurance digital transformation on urban economic resilience is more significant in cities with high population density, non-resource-based cities, and cities in the central and western regions. Mechanism analysis shows that the insurance digital transformation enhances urban economic resilience through extending city carrying capacity effects, economic efficiency effects, and social risk management. Therefore, insurance digital transformation should be accelerated, and regional economic cooperation mechanisms should be strengthened to promote overall improvement of national economic resilience. |
