中文摘要:基于2011—2021年中国31个省(自治区、直辖市)数据,从作用机制与效应评估视角阐释金融可得性对居民消费升级的影响。研究结果显示:金融可得性通过优化产业结构显著提振城乡居民消费升级,尤其是对农村地区居民消费升级的提振效应更为明显。此外,金融可得性对促进东西部地区城乡居民、中部地区城镇居民和高收入差距居民的消费升级有更深远的影响,金融可得性通过增量来促进城镇居民消费升级,通过提质来实现农村居民消费升级。鉴于此,应加大消费金融政策支持力度,创新金融服务模式,扎实推进金融供给侧结构性改革;优化就业和社会保障体系,增强人民消费信心。

The Action Mechanism and Influence Effect of Financial Availability on Resident’s Consumption Upgrade
Abstract:Based on the data of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China from 2011 to 2021, this paper empirically analyzes the potential impact of financial availability on residents’ consumption upgrading and its path mechanism. The results show that the financial availability significantly boosts the consumption upgrading of urban and rural residents by optimizing industrial structure, especially in rural areas. In addition, financial availability has a more far-reaching impact on promoting the consumption upgrading of residents in the eastern and western regions, urban residents in the central region and residents with high income disparities. In view of this, it is necessary to strengthen the policy support of consumer finance, innovate the financial service model, and solidly promote the structural reform of financial supplyside. Optimize the employment and social security systems and enhance people’s confidence in consumption.
