| 中文摘要:依据中国乡城流动人口调查数据库（RUMiC）数据，采用双重差分模型，考量劳动合同签订对农民工家庭消费的影响。结果显示，劳动合同签订通过加强劳动保护稳定了农民工收入预期、降低了其预防性储蓄动机，增加了农民工家庭当期消费。在农民工家庭消费的十二项细类支出中，劳动合同签订提升了农民工家庭的医疗支出、非储蓄性保险支出和高档消费品支出，降低了交通支出。鉴于此，应进一步健全劳动法律法规，切实维护农民工合法权益，加大农民工职业技能培训力度，有序推进农民工市民化进程，稳定农民工收入预期。 |

| The Effects of Labor Contract Signing on Migrant Workers Household Consumption in China |

| Abstract:Based on data from the Rural-Urban Migration in China (RUMiC) survey database, this study employs a Difference-in-Differences (DID) model to examine the impact of labor contract signing on the household consumption of migrant workers. The results indicate that labor contract signing stabilizes the income expectations of migrant workers by enhancing labor protection, reduces their precautionary savings motives, and increases their current household consumption. Among the twelve detailed categories of household consumption for migrant workers, labor contract signing increases their expenditures on medical care, non-savings insurance, and high-end consumer goods, while decreasing their transportation expenditures. In light of this, it is recommended to further improve labor laws and regulations to effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of rural migrant workers, intensify vocational skills training for migrant workers, promote the process of migrant workers’ urbanization in an orderly manner, and stabilize their income expectations. |
