中文摘要:以高考扩招政策构造准自然实验，考察本科学历和研究生学历扩张的叠加效应对中国制造业创新绩效的影响。结果显示：人力资本扩张显著提高了中国制造业创新绩效；研究生与本科学历扩张的叠加效应比本科学历扩张对创新绩效的促进作用更大；人力资本扩张对东部制造业企业、技术密集型制造企业、民营制造企业创新绩效的提升更为显著。研究为中国人力资本扩张提升制造业创新绩效提供了经验证据，也为高校再次扩招背景下制造业高质量发展提供了政策启示。

Expansion of Human Capital and Innovation Performance of China’s Manufacturing Industry

Abstract:This paper constructs a quasi-natural experiment based on the college entrance examination enrollment expansion policy to investigate the impact of the superposition effect of the expansion of undergraduate and graduate degrees on the innovation performance of China’s manufacturing industry. The research finds that the expansion of human capital significantly improves the innovation performance of China’s manufacturing industry. The superposition effect of graduate and undergraduate degree expansion is greater than that of undergraduate degree expansion on innovation performance. The expansion of human capital has significantly improved the innovation performance of the manufacturing industry in the East, technology intensive manufacturing enterprises and private manufacturing enterprises. This study provides empirical evidence for China’s human capital expansion to improve the innovation performance of manufacturing industry, and also provides policy enlightenment for the high-quality development of manufacturing industry under the background of university enrollment expansion again.
