中文摘要:基于财政可持续视角，依据2006—2019年省级面板数据，运用中介效应模型，考量人口老龄化对经济高质量发展的影响。结果发现：人口老龄化以财政可持续为中介变量，对经济高质量发展呈正向影响；随着人口老龄化程度的加深，老龄化对经济高质量发展的正向作用逐步减弱；东部地区人口老龄化对经济高质量发展的正向影响大于中西部地区。鉴此，应调整优化人口政策，提高劳动者素质，激活老龄人口消费潜力等，助推经济高质量发展。

The Impact of Population Aging on High-quality Economic Development——From the Perspective of Financial Sustainability

Abstract:Based on the perspective of fiscal sustainability, through theoretical analysis of the impact of population aging on high-quality economic development, empirical analysis is carried out using provincial panel data and the intermediary effect model from 2006 to 2019. The study found that population aging has a positive impact on high-quality economic development with fiscal sustainability as an intermediary variable; with the deepening of population aging, the positive effect of aging on fiscal sustainability and high-quality economic development has gradually weakened; The positive impact of population aging in the eastern region on high-quality economic development is greater than that in the central and western regions. It is thus proposal that we should guide the aging of the population to promote high-quality economic development by adjusting population policies and activating the consumption potential of the aging population.
